„Most differences of opinion come from a shortness of understanding. Especially in what concerns spiritual concepts, opposite expressions of a matter are no sign of an essential contradiction. For most often, precisely those who are the greatest opponents in their expressions in fact intend one and the same intention.”From Ketavim MiKitvei Yad Kodsho, II, Pinkas HaDapim (Notebook of the Pages) 4

Fundamental disputes, especially in what concerns spiritual and 'religious' matters, may often stem from a misunderstanding, or from an understanding of a certain matter from different sides.

If we try to listen to the other side, we may discover that most often there is no contradiction in our positions, but rather a different way of looking that can often complement.

Try to listen to reality in this way; it can open great gates.
