To Create Without Toil
„It is impossible to stop the creating of one whose soul creates always by its nature. Whenever spiritual weariness weighs upon him, it comes only because the creator thinks that creation is toil. And the more one delves into its secret, the more one comes to recognize that there is no toil or labor in it, and a person becomes likened to his Maker, who created the world without toil or labor.”
True creation descends into the world not through toil, but out of a deep connection. The intent is not that the creating person does not work on his creation, but that he does not feel the toil, because of the soul-connection to the object of his creation. And when we relate to a creation that we make, which is connected to our soul, as "work," then the suffering arrives. And we must understand the depth of the connection and rejoice in it. And then we will see fruit in our labor, without the sensation of toil...
