To Be Built from Our Labor
„One who truly has a human soul within him - his soul can find shelter only in the structures that he builds through his spiritual labor.”From Shemonah Kevatzim I:184
It is easier to lean upon the work of others. The approach of "sit and do nothing" causes a person not to make mistakes. His structures do not collapse. On the other hand, when we choose cessation, we do not succeed in imprinting our mark upon reality - to advance the world, to make present within it the unique letter that exists within us and that is meant to be established through us in the world. The more each of us succeeds in establishing his uniqueness in the world, the better it will be for him and for the world.
