To Truly Prevail
„For many nations, their downfall came precisely from their victory — when they became addicted to their material success and lost their human advantage.”From Ein Ayah, Shabbat
The complacency of victory is one of the jarring losses that history shows throughout the world after hard and terrible campaigns. The addiction to success, the addiction to "I, and none besides me" and to "my strength and the might of my hand have made me this wealth," causes many grievous casualties in the depth of the field, in the depth of reality, and in the long run. And therefore the light of victory is the reference to eternity — the understanding that the important physical power comes from the side of the spirit. And eternal success is a success bound up with the Eternity of Israel.
