„The war of their existence, the existence of the nation, the war of God, was in inner recognition. They were mighty in their spirit and knew, in the depth of darkness, to choose the good and turn away from evil.”From Orot HaMilchamah 2
The road going up to Beit El — paved with dreams on one hand and stumbling-stones and monuments on the other — requires of us stratagems: ones that will allow us to advance and to repair the world under the Kingdom of the Almighty. To be good and worthy of the land and of the state named after the great dreamer — Israel. And to continue his dreams and the connection of heaven and earth that he managed to build, now and forever. The greatness of our forefathers and foremothers is that they knew, in hours of a war of existence, to look upon all of reality with a deep gaze — one that sees generations ahead and not only the here and now. That is why, from then until now, they are the fathers and mothers of the Israelite nation.
