To Receive Strength From the Source
„The strength of Israel is in the eternal holiness, in the light of God and His Torah, in the yearning for spiritual illumination, which is the complete heroism that overcomes all the worlds and all their powers.”From Orot HaTechiyah 44
Where do we get strength?? A month since the terrible massacre and the outbreak of the war that changed our lives, and it currently seems that the process will be very long. Rav Kook writes about the deep changes our people are undergoing — in the demand for depth, in questions of identity. And in addition he writes about what is happening now, in the upheavals that overturn everything. And in this state there is a deep understanding that our foundation is Judaism. This is the reason for the hatred of evil toward us; this is the might of our strength and the light that we bring to the entire good world. The might we will receive from our sources — from the past, the present, and the future awaiting us as the people of God. Let us raise our heads and act for our victory, as a people that desires love and good.
