War
„The going forth to war was not by...”From Ein Ayah, Shabbat 32
Going forth to war is a departure from our private and personal place. A person who fights for his people thinks not of himself but of those he goes out to protect. Our soldiers currently in the field need fortitude of spirit in order to prevail. It is not the private place that is important now, but their ability to defeat an enemy — a victory that will bring spirit and strength to the whole nation, to its meaning and its values, and, God willing, also to its individuals. To each and every person.
