The Rav's Blessing from 90 Years Ago

„I hereby send my faithful blessing from Zion, to the people of God, the entire nation: that it be a year in which we reap with joy all that we sow in tears — for the good of our people and our holy land. A year in which all our factions lift their hands in holiness for the sake of the work of the whole of Israel and the true exalting of its horn. A year in which all our enemies recognize the purity of our aspiration, which is for the good of all humanity, as it is for our own good; and may they withdraw their hand from constricting our steps and let us build the edifice of our people and our land in the spirit of God, whose words shall not depart from our mouth, selah. As the plea of your faithful brother, who signs with a blessing of a good writing and sealing, from the holy mountain of Jerusalem. Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook”
