„Weakness and fatigue are the gateway to all the evil traits. They arouse sadness, and sadness brings anger and pride, envy and hatred, and all the lowest inclinations. Therefore the conduct of health, of bodily courage, is a sacred labor on behalf of the community and the individual.”From Shemonah Kevatzim V, 167

Our body and soul are one. Caring for the body directly affects the soul, and vice versa. When a person feels they have no strength, they open the door to bad things. When you feel you have no strength, when you feel suffocated, that is the time to put on athletic clothes and go for a light run. That is the time to take a friend and talk or spend time together (when possible...). Improving one's outer feeling brings a person inner joy and health.
