„Our aim is always directed not only toward being redeemed from strait…”
„Our aim is always directed not only toward being redeemed from straits, not merely toward being healed of blows and saved from illnesses... but toward something incomparably greater: toward laying bare the whole of the light, toward streaming the streams of eternal life from the source of the Holy of Holies.”From Pinkas Yerushalayim 693, 7
When we encounter difficulty and destruction, alongside the desire and prayer for repair, we also aspire to advancement. Destructions are an immense hardship, but once they have already occurred, they can become a springboard for repairing reality. The destruction of the Temple, for example, was the peak of the collapse of that time — "a city burned with fire." Part of the trend and the goal is to build a house with a more stable and correct foundation.
