Rav Kook's conception is that every force in the world can be used by us for good, or, God forbid, for the opposite. We can take the Hebrew language (which is what he discusses in the letter) and create from it a positive force, or the reverse. So too in our national revival. So too in education, in the army, in creativity, and on and on... A deep understanding of this matter can lead us to listen to and direct forces more precisely, instead of opposing and destroying them.
