A person develops out of his ideas and out of his studies; he absorbs his surroundings and receives from them, developing from the environmental climate in which he lives.

A person is recognized by his friends and by his surroundings. Good friends raise him to higher and better places; bad friends are liable to bring him down to the depths.

When we recognize this and work to ensure that our surroundings will be a good and quality environment, when we have the spiritual discernment to recognize and understand which places harm us and which elevate us, when we know how to distinguish between a good and faithful friend and a friend whose aim is evil — the matter will be good for us, will raise us and the whole world.

After the post I published yesterday, I received your responses and read them seriously. I understood that some of you were hurt by the fact that I shared something not directly related to the page.

Therefore I have decided to remove the things I wrote in yesterday's post, and I apologize that they were published.

Have a pleasant rest of the day, everyone!

For the recovery of Moshe Eliezer ben Rachel.
