„Wholeheartedness and uprightness are the foundation of happiness. Precise humility always rests upon them, and when they are joined together they make life into a concept of spiritual wealth—strong and growing in power.”From Shemonah Kevatzim, VII, 218
Wholeheartedness is simplicity, which enables a person to be happy with his portion; uprightness is the ability to speak truth and to stand behind it; precise humility (in my humble opinion) is the ability to set for myself challenges that suit me and to know my worth. When one works at and attains these traits, the aspiration of life does not become an oppressive and bitter thing, but rather an elevation of spirit and a challenge that fills one with strength anew at every moment.
