„Thanks / Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu”

„Thanks / Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu”

Thank You for the rain, for the water, and for life. Thank You for joy in days of storms and rains. Thank You for the water flooding the streams. Thanks in our own name, thanks in the name of the plants.

Thanks for the growth, the fruits that grow and come. Thanks in the name of the trees, thanks in the name of the grasses, thanks in the name of the shrubs, thanks in the name of the flowers. Thanks in the name of the leaves, the roots, and the branches.

Thanks in our own name, thanks in the name of life. In the name of the birds that hide and conceal themselves. Thanks in the name of those who walk, thanks in the name of the mammals. Thanks in the name of the crawling creatures, the fluttering butterflies.

Thanks in the name of the earth, in the name of the reservoirs. In the name of the water pools that were dry and thirsty. Thanks in the name of the streams full of flowing water. Thanks in the name of the springs that gush, and gush, and gush.

Thanks in the name of the thirsty, thanks in the name of the living. Thank You, God, even in the cold days. Thanks for the sun. Thanks for the lightning. Thank You for the wind. Thanks for life.

Thank You for everything. Thanks for the abundance of rains. Thanks for the listening. For the prayer. And the mercy. Thanks for every drop. Thanks for every breath. Thanks for the love. Thanks for life.

Shabbat Shalom!
