„The insolence of the 'footsteps of the Messiah' era is a diminishment…”

„The insolence of the 'footsteps of the Messiah' era is a diminishment of light for the sake of the rectification of the world, and it is not at all like the events of other transgression, which were complete defects, a way of destruction.”From Shemonah Kevatzim, II, 107

Our world advances and develops, and the present development—although it sometimes appears to contain a great darkness—is part of the rectification of the world.

The clarification that the world undergoes through the ways of difficulty leads it to a great rectification, and the diminishment of light that occurs in the time in which we find ourselves is not evil (as opposed to what Rav Kook calls the events of other transgression). The developed vessels will carry within them holiness, and although it appears that there is a diminishment of light, the result of the process will be its increase—for greater material vessels contain greater spiritual lights.

The insolence that exists now is a will to break through a path. A correct relation to this insolence and a listening to the spaces between the words can bring the world to redemption.
