„Habit and an aesthetic sense are needed, to see in every sacred book…”
„Habit and an aesthetic sense are needed, to see in every sacred book the scientific and literary aspect within it, and to unite this content with the innocent holy content, in which there is no flaw of over-cleverness. And the innocent shall inherit good.”From Shemonah Kevatzim, V, 21
Everything in our world must be presented properly. Holiness need not come in ugly vessels - on the contrary. 'A Torah scholar upon whose garment a stain is found is liable to death' - the need to be meticulous about wholeness applies precisely to matters connected to Torah and holiness. So too with scientific proofs, with literary language, with cleanliness, and with aesthetic and beautiful presentation.
