Repair (Tikkun)
„The emphasizing of these two names, and the imaginary agreement that ties together the individual persons - so that each one of them boasts to say: I am from this camp, and the other likewise says: I am from this camp, and each and every one is content with his position - behold, this blocks the path of repair and of perfection from both sides.”From Masa HaMachanot
How is repair prevented in the world? When every person becomes an automaton. Justice is always found in his "camp," the poison and the evil are always found in the other "camp." The difference that exists between us allows us to perfect ourselves and to be better. We are challenged by the other, we learn how to improve ourselves and to be better. But if we turn the other into a monster, our repair is destroyed. And even in the things you are reading here now, think about the times you do this to others, and not about the times others do it to you or to your camp... This is part of the repair!
