Anger
„All the wars of nations, and all the murder and plunder among human beings, down to every rage among animals, from the venom of the serpent to the sting of the smallest of creeping things, when done with intent to harm, come from the general anger stored up in the world, which stems from the pent-up force of creativity.”From Shemonah Kevatzim, VIII:251
Anger is a byproduct of pressure and lack. A force that fails to emerge in its place of glory bursts out in strife and quarrel. A person wants to give expression to his bubbling talent, and finds no place for it. The seething, boiling capacity seeks to break out, and if it is not given its place, it finds every possible crevice and erupts with full force. The remedy for anger is to make room for creativity and expression to emerge, through the right vessels and along the royal road.
