The Eve of Jerusalem Day

„Israel, build your holy city; remember... your oath, which you swore by the rivers of Babylon: ‘If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.’”From Chibat Yerushalayim

The foundation of everything is the holy city. Our enemies raise up the name of Jerusalem; it is their principal war, the object of their desire, and the fuel of their hatred. And we must listen. And we must understand that the path to victory lies in what they themselves have defined as their goal. They want our Jerusalem in ruins, and we, precisely now, must build Jerusalem. To build the foundation of our existence here, in spirit and in matter. To understand the basis of our life here.
