The Eve of Passover

„The redemption is ongoing and continuing; the redemption from Egypt and the complete future redemption are one unceasing act.”From Yisrael UTechiyato, 28

We are part of one long chain. A chain in which each of us has a part. The building of the people of Israel, its redemption, is not something that happened once – a process that began and ended. We are the redemption, we are part of the process, both in our successes and in our troubles, our distresses, and our burdens. The deeds we do, the decisions we make personally and nationally, are part of this chain. Think about this while you sit at the Seder with your family and those close to you, with the links that connected you to a long chain and the links you have built after you. Think about this too when you see before your eyes those who will not merit to recline with us at the Seder this time. May we all merit redemption. A kosher and joyous Passover!
