On the Way to Freedom
„By the inner light of this self-freedom we will travel and go on to bring out more and more our fresh, inner independence.”From Ma'amarei HaRaayah, Cheruteinu
Sometimes it seems that reality is standing still, that the way is delayed, that the problems only pile up. But the redemption does not stop. Even when we do not see it, even when everything seems confused – it continues to move forward. Rav Kook teaches that redemption is not only an external liberation, but an inner process, a building of consciousness and of identity. We are marching within it, even when we do not always notice. Stage after stage, step after step, something new is revealed, becomes clear, and is uplifted.
Even now, amid all the complexity, it is happening. Even when it seems that everything is stuck – the redemption is advancing.
