Paralyzing Fear

„The more a person distances himself from sin, the more his fear of thought diminishes.”From Shemonah Kevatzim, I 56

When we sin, we lose our capacity for authenticity. Sin erases within us the freedom and the liberty to be who we truly are. It causes us to miss our purpose by diverting us from the right and upright path. The more we distance ourselves from it, the more we draw near to ourselves and to our authenticity and to the originality of ourselves and of our thought. When we are clean of sin, we can be more confident in ourselves.
