Parashat Miketz
„He set an end to darkness – the concealment of the thing that must come forth into actuality and has not yet done so; it has an end, and it necessarily emerges.”From Midbar Shur, Derush 24
Parashat Miketz, the parashah of dreams coming true. A parashah with the immense difficulty preceding the resolution – the suffering of the brothers, the suffering of Joseph. In "Midbar Shur" the Rav describes at length the matter of the dream and its essence. In the Talmud they explain to us that dreams follow their interpretation, and when one interprets them for good, their fulfillment is for good. The deep explanation of these things is not that all is always good, but that all is always for the good, and that there is a Creator to the world. And these things are part of Rav Kook's approach in seeing depth in the whole of reality. To see reality, to live the dream, and to bring forth the miracle. God willing.
