Parashat Vayetze
„Rise higher, rise, for you have mighty strength; you have wings of spirit, wings of mighty eagles. Do not deny them, lest they deny you; seek them, and they will be found for you at once.”From Orot HaKodesh I, 64
We search for strength everywhere. We hang our uplift on all sorts of external factors that are supposed to help us rise. And when we are unable, we can blame the whole world for shutting us in and stopping us from blossoming. But the strengths are within us. In each and every one of us there are wings of spirit that can raise us high, high. If we try to ignore them and hang everything on others, we will lose them and remain below. But the moment we understand and decide to make use of them – we will be able to lift ourselves, by ourselves, with mighty and inner strengths, to the very highest places.

This Shabbat is "Shabbat Irgun" in Bnei Akiva, and the theme of the organizing month is "A people who has spirit within it." God willing, we shall surely rise!
