Only Health

„In a healthy body there is room to seek pleasure, whereas in a sick body there is no desire except the removal of pain.”From Rishon LeYafo, 116

What is it to be healthy? Many times we aspire simply not to be sick. That the body continue to move, that the leg not ache, that the teeth not grind, and that, God forbid, there be no illness that causes us real harm. But health is not only the removal of pain, but a pleasure that stands on its own. To be healthy does not mean not to be sick, but to create a reality that is good for us. Health of soul and health of body that advance us, that make tomorrow better for us. And the definition of the aspiration for health – in body, in soul, in our relationships, and in everything – is part of a new and healthier creation.
