28 October 2024 · A sentence from the teachings of Rav Kook

„To whatever degree a person grows greater, the whole world grows grea…”

„To whatever degree a person grows greater, the whole world grows greater along with him.”From Shemonah Kevatzim I, 454

The power of an individual is immense. So great that even without taking any actual actions we can change the entire world. With a smile, with a deed, with an embrace, with sharing in the burden and the needs of society, with cleansing the discourse of the poisons within it. The more we grow, the world grows with us. The more we grow greater, we cause our surroundings to grow greater with us, and like ripples this spreads to more and more, until the whole world.
