„And every year, when this holy day, the day of the giving of the Tora…”

„And every year, when this holy day, the day of the giving of the Torah, returns and appears over Israel, a greatness of the world is renewed within us... And now, as the days of your national revival are coming, and you are returning, camp by camp, to the land of your inheritance, as on this day prepare to meet your God, O Israel. Know that the culmination of creation rests upon your shoulders!”From "Tokef Gedulat HaYom" (The Force of the Day's Greatness), Ma'amarei HaRe'iyah, p. 175

We have merited to be part of the chain of generations of the people of Israel and to celebrate the holy day of the giving of the Torah in the Holy Land.

Now, a mission is placed upon us too, as part of this long and important chain.

The people of Israel have returned to their land, and even now there are many missions we must carry out: to enlarge Torah, to innovate in Torah, to fulfill Torah in practical life, in daily living.

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Happy holiday!

For the recovery and release of Yehonatan ben Malka Pollard.
